Europeans have been producing kitchens, in factories (vs. carpenter’s shops) for about 100 years now.

The countries that have the largest amount of kitchen brands are: Italy and Germany. They probably produce about 90% of the kitchens sold in Europe. They also are the largest exporters of kitchens outside of Europe.

You will also find some large kitchen factories in England, France, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and other European countries.

On the right side of the page are the European kitchen companies, by country. If you know a kitchen company, that is not listed, please contact us and will gladly add it.

Hi kitchenguy, thanks for the very informative blog. I’m based in Italy and currently looking at Modulnova, Dibiesse and SICC for our summer house. How would you rank them in terms of quality, price and service ? Thanks.

    1. kitchenguy

Isabella – Modulnova is a step above SICC and Dibiesse, in terms of quality. Price and service has a lot to do with your local dealer, but should be reflective of the quality level.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

Thanks, kitchenguy, this is very helpful! How do you compare a Snaidero to a Modulnova ? I ask because I have a Time Snaidero at home and I’m very happy with it, but didn’t want to spend a fortune on a summer house’s kitchen.
I wonder if you can help with a few doubts I have around the finish – I like the glossy white lacquered doors but not sure what the pros and cons are compared to glass, wood etc., the same for the handles, with / without ?Also, I can’t make up my mind with the floor tiles and colours I should have, as well as the colour and material (quartz, laminate, okite etc.) for the storage counter area. I like the “white and light” concept of a summer house, and the simple and linear shapes, but don’t want to risk the “hospital” look in my kitchen. Thanks for helping me out here, it is very much appreciated !

    1. kitchenguy

Isabella – Personally, I prefer Snaidero, but they are close in quality. As far as the rest of your questions – these are questions for the designer you will be working for and they are not ‘cut and dry’ questions, but rather a design process you have to go through. A lot has to do with personal taste and preference, rather than “which one is better”.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  3. Teresa

Hi Kitchenguy. Thanks for this nice website.
I’m hesitating between Bultahup b1 line and Dada – InDada.
Are they in the same line? (basic line of the brand?)
I live in Spain. Price is about 20% less in Dada one.
    Thanks for you answer.

    1. kitchenguy

Teresa – they are more or less the same. If Dada is 20% less – go for it!
      Good luck!
      kitchenguy

  4. Theresa

Hi, there. Thanks for this usefull website.
I’m hesitating between a Dada kitchen (InDada version) and Bulthaup (b1 line). Are they in the same range (basic line version)? Any coment about these options?

    1. kitchenguy

Theresa – you are correct, as they are at the same level.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  5. jay

    Hi kitchen guy,
First of all thanks for such an informative ..no nonsense blog.
m from India..nd market here is too much price conscious or rather i should say that dispensable income is much less than European/American countries.
Even 2500$ kitchen is beyond reach of majority in Tier II cities (leaving 6-7 major cities apart)
General trend here is to get it manufactured from unorganized sector.. carpenters/designers/architects
Can u please name some good hard ware companies besides
    Grass.. Blum..Hettich.. Samet ..FGV..Salice
and how do u rate above mentioned in terms of quality.

    1. kitchenguy

Jay – thanks for the kind word. I’ve listed all the European hardware companies in the links directory (see on the bottom right).
I believe that the bigger brands (Blum, Grass, Hettich, etc.) have more innovative and advance items in their collections but all the rest are decent quality and for the price, are a great value!
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  6. Anthony

Modulnova have recently set up in Hong kong and are pricing to win business in a seemingly competitive market. some of my neighbors have been installing them. I am comparing them with Boffi and Poggenphol and Varenna. I am a little bit lost reading all the blurb. Forgetting price for the moment how would you rank them quality and design wise.

    Thanks
    Anthony

  7. Sara de Bois

I am thinking of getting Astra kitchen Cabinets in the high high gloss poly in white. Is that a high end line or is pedini, Copat, Modulnova, Milton or Scavolini better. It seems that Astra is the only line with the high high gloss finish that is not glass.
Love to know your thoughts since these are the only lines I have found in Ls Angeles

    1. kitchenguy

Anthony – Modulnova is comparable with Poggenpohl and Varenna but Boffi is a step above.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

    2. kitchenguy

Sara – it seems that you are getting wrong info.
All the lines that you have mentioned offer high gloss lacquer and high gloss laminate (not sure which you prefer).
Astra is a ‘price driven’ product, like Mitton and Scavolini. Copat, Pedini and Modulnova are much better.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  8. neha

    hi,
i am from india..i wanted to know how is lube cucine as a brand? Thanks.

    1. kitchenguy

Neha – Lube is a ‘price driven’ product. The quality is low to medium.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  9. Shelley Simpson

WE have a Kontrolle corner kitchen unit. Can you get the sliding ball race as a spare part. The only numbers we cann find on the ubnit are 10487 and 10562. We are based in New Zealand and is there an agent here.

    1. kitchenguy

Shelley – I have no idea what you are referring to and so am not able to even attempt to assist you… – please try to be a bit more specific. Is that regarding one of the mechanisms in your kitchen? What is the brand (of the kitchen OR the mechanism)?
      kitchenguy

  10. Praveen

I have freezed on two brands Nolte and Veneta Cucine. I am from India, which one is better in terms of built quality and performance.

    1. kitchenguy

Praveen – they are pretty much equal. These are two brands that are ‘price driven’, so I suggest you choose between the designer/dealer.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  11. Chai mambo

    Hi
We are trying to decide between Nolte, Hacker and Alno right now. Looking for white/vanilla lacquer finish. Haven’t got all quotes yet, but have our design and layout which we are happy with. How do you rank these three brands. Price will come into play, but good to know how they rank.

    Thanks for your help.

    1. kitchenguy

Chai – Price should be about the same, between Alno (not one of their lesser brands…), Nolte and Häcker. Häcker would be my choice, out of these 3, without a doubt.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  12. Jen

    Hi

I am considering getting miton from italy or alno from germany. Are they the same level? Given the same price, what should i choose. Thanks

    1. kitchenguy

Hi Jen – they are more or less equal in quality. I would focus on the dealer/designer, to decide between the two.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  13. Sally

You’re a G’d send, Mr. Kitchen guy. Im writing from Panama. Here they sell veneta cucine, berloni, scavolini, snaidero, arrex, and a few others. Im right now between arrex and snaidero. What i like about snaidero is the quality and beautiful designs, but the arrex has more traditional designs to choose from.
How would you rate ibetween arrex, veneta and berloni, which you like best? My sister has scavolini and is complete trash. The door paint is all chipped at the handle areas and the interior looks cheap compared to arrex.

    1. Sally

      They also sell ar-tre.

    2. kitchenguy

Hi Sally – thanks for the kind words!
Berloni, than Arrex and Veneta last. A words of causious though, they are not better than your sister’s Scavolini…
Good luck and please keep me posted.
      kitchenguy

  14. varun shah

    Hi Kitchen guy,

May I know the best kitchen manufacturer in Italy? Where do you rate Toffini kitchens?

    1. kitchenguy

Varun – there really is no way to determine the “the best kitchen manufacturer in Italy” – there are too many factors such as ‘best design’, ‘best quality’, ‘best price, ‘best value’, etc. The closest I was able to get to is My Personal Top 20 – 11 out of the 20 are Italian.
Toffini is a small company in Napoli. Being that they have very few dealers (if any…), I’ve never seen the product myself.
      kitchenguy

  15. varun shah

Thank you kitchen guy for your help. But can you help me with the Toffini company details if possible for you. It has it presence all over as per company details. In the market how is toffini rated?

    1. kitchenguy

Varun – like I replied before – Toffini is a small company in Napoli. Being that they have very few dealers (if any…), I’ve never seen the product myself.
      kitchenguy

  16. varun shah

What do you suggest for the dealership in India? Any suggestion?

    1. kitchenguy

Varun – I need a lot more information, to be able to respond intelligently…
Where is the store? What products are you selling now? What are you looking for? For what type of clientele? At what price level?, etc.

  17. Mike

    HI,
I am intrested in taking a dearlership in the MiddleEast with Fagor Kitchens-Spain. Would appreciate your comments on their product quality, and the pricing against the other European Brands. Where do I rate them.

    Rgds

    1. kitchenguy

mike – Fagor (appliances) are a very large, ‘price driven’ company. If you’re look for a very aggressively priced product of good quality, this could be it. The same company also own other European brands, some are higher end products. You may want to try to secure exclusivity for their other brands as well.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

      1. Mike

        Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply. Also I would like to know the quality of their Kitchens (Fagor )the materials such as MDF,HDF,laminate etc..they use and the finished product ofcourse. Also appreciate if you could mention what are the other European brands they have.
        Rgds
        Mike

        1. kitchenguy

Mike – I’m not familiar with Fagor cabinets… They are an appliance manufacturer… I’m also not understanding your second question (“…what are the other European brands they have”).
          Sorry,
          kitchenguy

          1. Mike

            Many thanks. Mike

  18. Danny

Where is Modulnova shop in HK? Can anyone tell me the address? thansk

    1. kitchenguy

Danny – not sure if there is one. They list an Italian agent, on many of their country dealers locations in the far east (unlike other countries, where the dealer is listed). You may want to contact that agent, via e mail, for more info.

  19. Michael

Hi Kitchenguy – well done on a sensational site. I am from Australia and visit Eurocucina bi-annually to gather ideas and see new materials. We have developed a close relationship with Egger who has an outstanding new range of melamine board colors. I myself have spent a lot of time visiting a list of Euro companies websites that I have collated over the years. One of my favourites is http://www.gedcucine.it which I think is missing from your list. Keep up what is an invaluable sourcing website – well done again.

    1. kitchenguy

Micheal – GeD has always been listed… –
      kitchenguy

  20. Michael

Also … what are the best European DIY companies that you are familiar with ? Have you by chance prepared a Top 10 or Top 20 ?

    1. kitchenguy

Hi again – DIY is usually a method of distribution, not a product type… Are you referring to KD (knok down or flat packed)…?

  21. Ramin

    Hi KitchenGuy,

Thanks for your wonderful website. I am from Canada, toronto.

I want to renovate my kitchen. I am thinking between Nolte, Leicht and Neff (British brand) cabinets. How do you rate them? I think Neff is a bit more expensive than two other german brands.

And do you know any other brands in the same range price but higher quality in Canada(20,000-30,000) ?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Ramin

    1. kitchenguy

Dear Ramin – it seems that you are confusing Neff appliances (German) and Neff cabinets (Canadian). If I’m correct, here is your answer: Nolte is a price point product. Leicht is much better in quality. Neff is a small Canadiaan company (located in Toronto’s industrial area), producing custom made, over-priced products. If you’re looking for a True European product, that can come in this price range, try Pedini – they offer a variety of product ranges, some start as low as this and have recently opened a Pedini“>Toronto location.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  22. Marc

    Dear Kitchenguy,

Thank you for a great blog! I am sourcing out a kitchen company to work with in San Diego, California. I like Modulnova Designs and quality but find the price range higher than the market I would like to go after. I looked at Alta’s top two lines and I like the catalogues/presentation and look and the pricing seemed in line with what I have in mind. Can you recommend another Italian company that offers exciting designs and good quality with a middle price range product that I can pursue? Many Thanks!

    1. kitchenguy

Marc – there are many Italian companies that fit this profile but what you have to remember is that most of them : a) are not ready for export to the US. b) do not have a brand name recognition in the US (like Modulnova) and therefore will be hard to sell at a high price.
The price point, of a brand name, is always higher than a ‘no name’ but consumers are willing to pay it.
First, I suggest looking for an established company, that has already US presence, distribution and a brand name. If you can’t find one, then move on to find one that has the right product, pricing and is ready for export, at a lower price point.
If you wish to discuss it privately, feel free to contact me directly.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  23. Ruth

Great website, love the blogs. Have just got a price for a veneer door Hacker kitchen. Is the classic range inferior to their other ranges and would you recommend upgrading. Was also thinking about choosing a lacquered door is it worth the extra expense

    1. kitchenguy

Ruth – The Classic range is simply more limited in options, but is made the same way. People choose lacquer for its look – if you like it enough, it is worth it…
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  24. abrilata

    Hi Kitchenguy,
First off, thank you for creating this website, it is truly helpful. We are currently looking for kitchen builders and we spoke to Bauformat and they are giving us a price close to our budget. Would you recommend them? Quality, reliability, value? How are they comparable to Schmidt, Mobalpa, Haecker or Schueller? Thanks and looking forward to your advise.

    1. kitchenguy

Abrilata – Bau for mat is a ‘price driven’ product, but as long as they are not pricing the Burger line, you should be okay. Schmidt, Mobalpa, Haecker or Schueller are all a couple of steps up and will also be pricier.
      Good luck!
      kitchenguy

      1. abrilata

Thanks, Kitchenguy. We finally decided on Mobalpa!

        1. kitchenguy

          Abrilata – good luck!
          Please keep me posted.
          kitchenguy

  25. Sergio

    Hi Kitchenguy
We are trying to decide between Poggenpohl, Miton, Scavolini and Pendini right now. Haven’t got all quotes yet, but have our design and layout which we are happy with. How do you rank these four brands. Price will come into play, but good to know how they rank. Poggenpohl is 2 times over the Miton price.

We’re based in Monterrey, Mex. so if you can recommend us another brand we can looking.
    Thanks for your help.

    1. kitchenguy

Sergio – here is my ranking, based on quality alone (don’t know the retail prices in Mex.):
      1. Pedini
      2. Poggenpohl
      3. Scavolini
      4. Miton
Poggenpohl being twice the price of Miton is where it should be.
Not sure what other brands are available in Monterrey, but if you find another one you’d like me to evaluate, please return to this blog.
      Good luck!
      kitchenguy

      1. Sergio

Thanks Kitchenguy this info is very useful in our decission process. I find a retailer for Arclinea at the same city we’re living, could you please include it on my shortlist? Best regards

        1. kitchenguy

Sergio – they are up there, with Pedini and will probably be higher priced.
          kitchenguy

  26. LMDesign

Hi , I am starting a residential interior design project in Ibiza Balearics and I need help in determining a good mid to top end kitchen manufacturer and suppier. I prefer German or Italian kitchens , I noticed a LUBE showroom , how do you rate them ? Any advice welcome.
    Linda Theresa Martin

    1. kitchenguy

LMDesign – Lube is a ‘price driven’ product. If that is what you’re looking for than it would be a good choice, or any other brand that is available on the island. If you are willing to be a bit more adventurous and import something from Spain or Italy, than there are many brands available, but it will be a bit more costly…
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  27. Rob

Hi Kitchenguy, we are looking to establish a Italian concept store in New Zealand. We are wanting to stock 3 kitchen brands. One mainstream with a wide range but good quality and value; and one or two top-end designs. After your comments I have eliminated Scavolini, Lube and Veneta. Do you know much about Aster, Rossana or TM Italia? Snaidero looks like an option while Pedini is already here. Interested in your guidance.
    Rob

    1. kitchenguy

Rob – Aster, Rossana and TM are higher end (and price) than Scavolini, Lube and Veneta. Not sure of TM’s ability to export, but the other two have done some successfully. Snaidero is higher end than all of them and will be a good choice for your top-end. I wasn’t aware of Pedini already existing in NZ… – where?
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

      1. Rob

Hi Kitchenguy. I heard on the street Pedini were here but to be honest haven’t followed it through. Thanks for your advice on Snaidero. Other than Scavolini, Lube and Veneta who would have a wide range at a lower price point but reasonable quality so we have something for everyone? Regards, Rob.

        1. kitchenguy

Rob – “…heard on the street that Pedini were here…” – that almost sounds like ‘black market’ kitchen business… 🙂 Not really sure who is available in NZ, so it is hard to give advise on ‘who else’ I would recommend… If you let me know who else is available, I’ll be happy to rate them for you.
          kitchenguy

  28. Flee

KG – I’m in the final stages of pricing an Italian kitchen with a distributor here in the US and I’m struggling to get everything I want affordable. I have been offered a discount off the US list price which appears to be generous but I’d like to know what typically should I expect to get as a discount?

    Brilliant blog by the way…

    1. kitchenguy

Thanks Flee – there is no typical discount. Discounts are an American game that was invented by retailers in an effort to boost sales during certain times of the year. inflating a price, to then offer a sale is nothing more than a game… In Germany, for example, it is not legal to advertise a sale on kitchens…
Just compare ‘apples to apples’ and you’ll know who’s giving you the best deal.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  29. Maitra

A beautiful site. Can u tell me more about bauformat?

    1. kitchenguy

Maitra – thanks. What is it that you’d like to know…?
      kitchenguy

  30. bharat pathak

too good web site , I have learn a lot from your blog

    Thanks kitchenguy.

  31. Gary

Which italian line do you think will have better brand appeal to the Chinese market? Low end snaidero or high end armony (similar cost to me) . Thanks

    1. kitchenguy

Gary – I need a lot more information that this, in order to give you an intelligent opinion…
      Sorry,
      kitchenguy

    2. oliblurr

For the chinese market the more expensive the better. why compete with low end? you have so many local chinese factories. get the Snaidero

    3. geetha

      Hi Kitchenguy,

Very nice reviews..Is hacker classic kitchen good and PG1 finish ok? how do you compare them with Alno, Veneta on price, service. Also what is the life time for a hacker classic kitchen? and how much warranty does the company give.

      1. kitchenguy

Geetha – Hacker classic is a good quality producty, in all the finishes. Alno is less quality and Veneta is less than Alno. Please refer to the manufacturer warranty offered by the dealer, as it may change from one country to another.
        Good luck,
        kitchenguy

  32. Gilbert Beldengreen

Dear Kitchenguy, I live in NYC. I am trying to compare the high gloss laquer Pedini Magika cabinets with those of a company named Minimal Cucina Italia. Are you familiar with this company? How do the two compare? Gilbert

    1. kitchenguy

Gilbert – Pedini is a high end, quality brand and the Magika model is very nice. The door is an inch thick and it offers many options and accessories. Pedini also has approx 35 showrooms, throughout the US and hundreds more all over the world. Minimal Cucina is also a very nice product, but the company is very small, with very few showrooms and only one in the US…
      My choice is – Pedini!
Good luck and please keep us posted,
      kitchenguy

    2. oliblurr

Pedini is an already established luxury brand. but Magika is their more affordable model. Minimal is not so famous yet but they try..i think the kitchen in the 3rd Transformers movie is a Minimal kitchen. I’d go for Pedini. they offer 5 years + 2 years warranty.

  33. Paul

    Hi
A nice simple one for you, which would you go for, Pronorm,Hacker Systemat or RWK ??

    Cheers
    Paul

  34. Rachel Schottland

I love your site here. I was planning to go with Scavolini for our new kitchen, because I am concerned about formaldehyde, and Scavolini seems to have thought about this and reduced the off-gas risks. Yet you don’t seem to love the brand because of quality. Are there other good options for a european kitchen co. that has addressed indoor air polution concerns? Thanks.

    1. kitchenguy

Rachel – yes, there are, but I really need to know where you are located to help… 🙂
      kitchenguy

  35. alex

Kitchenguy, How would you rank Stosa Cucine compraing with other Italian Brands? I’ve seen many installations and I think is a fantastic product and the prices are very competitive.

    1. kitchenguy

Alex – Stosa is a ‘price driven’ product and as such, the pricing is very good but it does come in the expense of other things…
      kitchenguy

  36. mai

I want to ask leicht (german brand), where does that compare to scavolini and varenna?
    thanks

    1. kitchenguy

Mai – better than Scavolini and in par with Varenna.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  37. andia

hello i want to know if arrex brand is high quality?

    1. kitchenguy

Andia – no, it is a ‘price driven’ product.
      kitchenguy

  38. phil

hi kitchenguy, ciukd you please help me rank the folowing brnad from thr best to the less good in terms of quality, ad we are in the process of renewing our kitchen.thx in adv
brands are snaidero, comprex, leicht, scavolini and mobalpa.
    rgds

    1. kitchenguy

Phil – here they order, in the order of quality: Snaidero is the better of the group, Comprex, Leicht and Mobalpa are second and Scavolini is third.
      Good luck,
      kitchenguy

  39. Plumbers tips

What a welcoming discovery your website is! I?ll most definitely be following from now on.

  40. Phil

Kithcenguy thx a lot for your reply, much appreciated. I m a bit surprised that Scavolini is behind Mobalpa. Can you explain a bit further on that please? Thx alot in adv.
I m about to meet the Comprex sales this Saturday and the Snaidero and Scavolini the Saturday in a week…Scavolini showed me a good offer so far on the liberamente line…but if you say quality is not as good… rgds Phil

    1. kitchenguy

Phil – Scavolini is a very large company (the largest in Italy) and the product is ‘price driven’. The quality is lower than Mobalpa (that is also a large company) in almost every aspect. Give you an example: I know a supplier of lacquer doors, that use to supply Scavolini. The standard was 7 coats of lacquer, on the high gloss finish. They told me that Scavolini went from 7 coats, to 3 coats, to one coat, to matted backing on the door and than even that was too expensive, so they switched to a lower price supplier. Scavolini is also much better in Italy, than in export markets, where they have a poor customer service and don’t stand behind their product as they do domesticlly.
Good luck and please keep us posted,
      kitchenguy

  41. Barbara

Kitchenguy – Add leicht to my list too – that makes four

    1. kitchenguy

Barbara – Hacker, Poggenpohl, Leicht and Mobalpa are more or less the same level and are all good. Choose based on the designer, the dealership and the looks of product itself. Oh, yes, and the price… 🙂
      good luck,
      kitchenguy

  42. phil

Hi kitchenguy, thx a lot again for those iportant details. We finally have chosen comprex and sneidero. I will meet them next week in italy. After that the trading will start….lets see who is the most skillfull sales. Every 1k eur is welcome as equivalent of a weekend with the familly somewhere in europe 😉
Quick question, what do you think is the kind of rebate that i could honnestly ask them as i m dealing with small dealerships?
That a lot innadvance for all kind of suggestions. Kind regards, phil

Phil – I’m afraid you’re going to wrong about this… It’s not just about price. Both brands should be at the same price range and you should choose, base on the product design, the skills of the designers and the dealer’s reputation. The price, should be your last priority.
Regarding the rebates – I’m really not sure, as it is different from one country to the next and even from one brand to another.
      Good luck,

    Sorry I meant Leicht, snaidero and Comprex… typo… 😉

    1. kitchenguy

Phil – all 3 are somewhat similar in quality, with Snaidero having a slight edge. I would choose based on the designer and the store you’ll be buying from.
      Good luck,

HI, I would like to know what is the quality of hardware and cabinets on a basic haecker kitchen in India as it is priced at roughly $4000 for a basic kitchen and the local kitchens start anywhere from $1600.
Also there is an import duty of 30 % on all Haecker kitchens to India so the difference in price

    1. kitchenguy

Abhishek – the name brand of the hardware they use, on all product levels, is marked right on the hinge and/or the drawer (usually, under their name plate).

India has brands such as Venita Cuchine, Haecker, Kohler, Sleek, Johnson Kitchen, Poggenpohl..!! Which one is the best value for money in terms of materials and durability ?

  48. Abhishek

And also what kind of boards for cabinets does Haecker use ? bcoz indian conditions and cooking lead to a lot of moisture and i hope Haecker doesnot use mfa boards or some low quality stuff even on its basic models ?

    1. kitchenguy

Abhishek – I’m afaraid I can’t really get into such an in-depth study of all of these brands, the hardware they use, their box material in the Indian climate, etc. – this is a study that takes a large investment of time and resources. Also, you’re not comparing ‘apples and apples’ – it is impossible to compare low end Italian kitchen (Venetta), with higher end German kitchens (Haecker & Poggenpohl), with an American plumbing fixtures (Kohler), Indian made kitchens (Johnson & Sleek)…
      Sorry,

  49. Amy

    Hi Kitchenguy – you rock!
I am in NY, and have visited Leicht, Alno, Poggenpohl, and Cesar – I would love to go with Poggenpohl, but is well above my price range. How would you compare the others, and do you know of any american brand that can compete so I don’t have to wait 4 months for a kitchen.

    1. kitchenguy

Amy – the others are all good, but will cost approx the same +/-… Sometimes they have an economy line, that will be somewhat limited on finishes and options, but costs a lot less. I’m not 100% sure if these guys do it. For example – Pedini does that with their Magika and Eko line. An American brand, that does a modern kitchen like these, close to the quality of the Europeans, will cost you much more and will take approx. 6-10 weeks for delivery… You better off waiting and getting the real thing!
Good luck and please keep us posted,

Thank you kitchenguy, I have been recently looking at henrybuilt – have you any advice on this company?

        1. kitchenguy

Amy – Henrybuilt is a small custom shop, producing Euro-style custom cabinetry, in the US. If you’re looking for something that is extremely custom, so much that the European brands can’t produce it, than it could be your solution. Otherwise, I’m sorry, but I see no advantage to doing so…
To me, getting a European looking custom kitchen built, is no different than getting a suit made by a tailor, instead of buying, let’s say, an Armani suit for half the price… Or how about getting a car, custom built, to look like a Mercedes… – you wouldn’t dare doing that, would you…?

      2. derek

great posts, however, I have to point out that you’re now saying Alno and Poggenpohl are the same quality, when before you’ve said Alno is an entry to Mid level, and Poggenpohl is high end and similar to Siematic.

        Please clarify

        Thanks

        1. kitchenguy

          derek – where did I say that…?

    Hi,

I am planning to acquire a kitchen dealership more from italian kitchen companies what would you recommend, price is a big factor in our current economic climate and its mostly replacement kitchens rather than new fits, and do all the companies supply complete kitchen ranges. i am a qualified kitchen fitter with alot of expierence in designing sales and fitting. i would really appreciate your opinion and help.
    thanks.

    Regards
    John.

    1. kitchenguy

      John – let’s start with:
      – Where are you located…?
      Also:
      – Are you looking to open a dealership, or purchase an existing one?
